Leeds for Change is looking for groups and organisations who would like a stall at its day long launch event on 8th November, Summat New. The deadline for proposals is Saturday 4th October.

This event follows on from two Leeds Summat(s), in 2009 and 2011, last time attracting over 1300 people, 35 workshops and 70 stalls. Now the event is hosted by Leeds for Change in collaboration with the Economic Justice Project.

You can have a table the size of an exam desk (hence the photo) to do what you like with. To hold a stall at Summat you’ll need to join Leeds for Change and make a suggested donation (£10 or £20 depending on your group’s income) via Tidal’s page on Localgiving. If you make your donation after 14th October localgiving will double your donation!

What is Leeds for Change?

Leeds for Change aims to strengthen the existing cooperation between social change groups in Leeds, draw in others who want to get involved and make it easy to share skills and resources.

The project has been started as a collaboration between Leeds Tidal, Together for Peace and Taking Soundings. We have made a website (this one!) to help meet these aims which can join as an individual and a group.

How do I apply for a stall?

Download the application form here, or email us and we’ll send you a copy. Have a read of the details, join Leeds for Change if you haven’t already and send it in:
