Racial Justice Network

Racial Justice Network (RJN) is hosted at Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary Community Action (KIVCA) and works to promote Social, and Race issues. RJN uses training, research and information on key policy and legislation to empower its members to challenge racial injustice and inequality. Through campaigning and advocacy, it ensures that the primacy of BME voices in decision-making and resource allocation.
Racial Justice
Details:

The current economic situation and accompanying austerity measures have increased poverty and deprivation in the UK, and scapegoating of migrants has increased alongside.

New policies are being pushed through the system which target the vulnerable, and are increasingly unequal. We believe there is a need for those on the margins to get informed and to get mobilised mobilised, and to push back with political engagement.

We believe we can do this by engaging with marginalised communities, holding more conversations about racial justice and encouraging them to get active.
