Our group promotes Fairtrade In Leeds. We're very proud that our city has had Fairtrade status for 10 years, meaning that many schools, universities, places of worship, shops and cafes are supporting the use of Fairtrade products.

The Fairtrade mark guarantees that farmers in the developing world get a consistently fair price for their produce. Our group promotes Fairtrade In Leeds. We’re very proud that our city has had Fairtrade status for 10 years. This means that many schools, universities, places of worship, shops and cafes are supporting the use of Fairtrade products. We organise regular events throughout the city to let more people know what Fairtrade is all about.
