As part of an exciting new collaborative venture surplus and otherwise discarded food will be revitalised and celebrated as a delicious delicacy ! Andy Castle (Ox Club), Helen Russell Brown (HRB Bakes) and Caleb Elliott (Rainbow Junktion) are coming together to make waste food sexy and spread the “Feed Bellies Not Bins” message to new audiences. The event on the 9th at All Hallows is a warm up for the food waste events we will be running during the Leeds Independent Food Festival.

Leeds Food Waste Emporium Warm Up Bistro will start promptly at 19:30, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare. The bistro will consist of an imaculately curated three course meal using and celebrating food that you is widely considered to be waste. This event will be pay-as-you-feel, so please bring lots of change. The suggested donation average is £10 – a meal of this standard would normally cost you £20 at the very least. All proceeds will go towards the contiued work at Rainbow Junktion Community Cafe.
If you do not wish to or cannot pay the booking fee please visit Rainbow Junktion Community Cafe either Monday, Thursday or Friday, between 10am and 3pm and speak to Caleb or Emily. Alternatively, email Caleb at caleb@rainbowjunktion.org.uk with your request.

We hope to see you at this very special event !!
