The UK’s economy is heading South and its government appears to be wandering around in circles. So 2017 ended not too well for our government and 2018 is not setting off any better.

On the other hand, Positive Money had a large number of notable wins, with its campaigns being reported on in the media, mentioned by central bankers and policy makers.

Sister organisations such as QE4People and New Economics Foundation have had similar successes so the messages are driving home.

How to continue in 2018?

More of the same or brand new messages with brand new drivers?

Joint Leeds Group co-ordinator Mike Goodman will take us on a whistle stop tour of current campaigns, read from the 2018 crystal ball and lead the discussion on what we would like to see and what we would like to do about it.

This event if free to attend and our request for a £3 donation to help cover costs is not mandatory. But for seating and safety arrangements please let us know that you intend to come by going to this web address and scrolling down: http://bit.ly/2hbtH0B.
