Event info

A 10 year old knows more about how money works than 85% of our politicians! Yes, that’s right, only 15% of the elected representatives in the House of Commons understand how money works. Our ten year old film starlet is better informed. Any wonder we’re in such a mess?

We have some short films to show and discuss. By the end of the meeting we will know a lot more about the financial system in this country, will have got to know a few more like-minded people and hopefully have enjoyed a very pleasant evening.

There will be two or three experienced Positive Money advocates on hand to help out with answers and pointers if we get stuck.

Oh yes. We’ll know a bit more about banking, too.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for a 7.30 p.m. start. The meetup ends at 9.00 p.m. – those who wish to have a drink and chat are welcome to join us in the bar downstairs afterwards.

This event if free to attend and our request for a £3 donation to help cover costs is not mandatory. But for seating and safety arrangements please let us know that you intend to come by going to this web address and scrolling down: http://bit.ly/2hbtH0B.
